Well, 2021 is off to a once-in-a-life-time start.
We in Texas and many southern, surrounding states are under-going an arctic winter storm, second to none. We are experiencing rolling black outs, water, and food shortages, fuel shortages in some areas, but we have our families, our faith, and we'll get through this too.
We have never in my years of being a Texan experienced this kind of weather.
Because so many of you are women with families, or living as single women, it's important to make sure we are prepared to care for ourselves and our families during this time.
Today, I've compiled a couple of videos and discuss food, water, sanitation, medicine/ medical care, cooking without power, making insurance claims and more. This is by no means exhaustive, but I hope it gets you moving and thinking in the right direction.
Once you've completed these short videos, please leave your comments below. Share if this is helpful, if you'd like more strategies, and if you have your own ideas, please share.
For more blogs about medicinal foods, natural remedies and other related topics, please see our other blogs.
Be safe and be well until our next encounter. We appreciate you being a part of our community, and we're praying for you.
